Tank calibration is typically the most time-consuming part of fuel level sensor installation. As such, the Escort team is pleased to introduce a Mathematical Calibration feature. This can now be found within the Escort Configurator app.
This feature enables users to simply choose the tank type, enter relevant dimensions and sensor details, and the app handles the creation of the tank calibration table. It is important to measure the dimensions of the fuel tank and the length of the measurement tube as accurately as possible to get a correct tank calibration table.
The Mathematical Calibration currently supports three tank types:
- a tank in the form of a parallelepiped
- a cylindrical container with flat bottoms
- a cylindrical container with torispherical bottoms
