Escort Monitoring Systems continued its Africa workshop series with a practical hands-on event in Lagos, Nigeria.
The workshop took place on 30 April 2026 at Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel Limited, Victoria Island, Lagos, and brought together system integrators, fleet technology specialists, and telematics solution providers interested in fuel monitoring, video monitoring, fleet visibility, and transport digitalization.
As part of the Nigeria workshop, MettaX and Pilot joined the event as technology partners, sharing their expertise in video monitoring, GPS solutions, fleet management software, data analytics, and practical system integration.
Practical focus on real integration scenarios
The workshop opened with a dedicated use case session on fuel lifecycle management, covering key implementation challenges and the full integration process – from fuel storage to dispensing and further data analysis.
The agenda also included technology sessions from the event partners. Escort Monitoring Systems presented TD-BLE fuel sensors, DU-BLE tilt sensors, and i5 on-board indicators, with a focus on installation, calibration, ATEX certification, mobile app configuration, and black box features.
MettaX introduced MDVR systems, dashcams, GPS trackers, and real-time surveillance use cases, while Pilot presented its fleet management platform, including data unification, fuel and video analytics, hardware integration, and custom reports.
Hands-on workshop and expert discussions
The practical part of the event gave participants the opportunity to work directly with the technologies presented during the day. The hands-on session included sensor installation and pairing with Escort equipment, MDVR setup with MettaX solutions, and platform configuration and report setup in Pilot.
The workshop concluded with a results discussion, Q&A panel, key takeaways, and conversations around future business opportunities.
The strong interest in the Nigeria workshop confirmed the growing demand for practical telematics expertise, reliable fuel monitoring technologies, video monitoring solutions, and fleet digitalization tools in the region.
Escort Monitoring Systems thanks all participants, speakers, and partners for their contribution to the event and looks forward to continuing the Africa telematics roadshow.
