On August 25, 2026, Escort Monitoring Systems held its first workshop in China at the Hangzhou Platinum Hanjue Hotel. Organised together with Pioneer and Exlive, the event brought local telematics professionals together for a full day of presentations, practical training and industry networking.
The workshop introduced participants to the expertise and technologies of all three companies. The Escort Monitoring Systems team presented the company’s sensor solutions and explained how they help businesses improve the accuracy of fuel monitoring and gain greater control over fleet operating costs. Pioneer then presented its GPS tracking equipment, while Exlive demonstrated the capabilities of its telematics platform.
A key part of the programme focused on how these technologies work together as a complete fleet monitoring solution. Escort Monitoring Systems, Pioneer and Exlive presented a successful joint project implemented for a fleet in China. The solution combined the Escort TD-BLE wireless fuel level sensor, a Pioneer GPS tracker and the Exlive telematics platform.
Using the project as a practical example, the speakers demonstrated how data moves from the sensor through the tracking device to the monitoring platform, providing fleet operators with reliable information about fuel levels and vehicle operation. The case also showed the value of combining compatible technologies from different manufacturers into a single, integrated system tailored to the needs of a particular fleet.
The practical session became the central part of the workshop. Participants were guided through the main stages of installing an Escort fuel level sensor in a specially prepared fuel tank. Our technical specialists demonstrated how to select the correct installation point, mount the sensor and configure it to obtain accurate and stable readings.
The hands-on format allowed participants to examine the equipment closely, follow the installation process step by step and discuss technical details directly with the Escort team. Special attention was given to correct sensor setup, as the quality of installation and calibration has a direct impact on the reliability of fuel monitoring data.
The programme concluded with a celebratory dinner, where participants and speakers could continue their conversations in a more informal setting, exchange professional experience and discuss potential areas of cooperation.
As the first Escort Monitoring Systems workshop held in China, the event marked an important step in strengthening our presence in the local telematics market. It also gave our team a valuable opportunity to work closely with Chinese partners, better understand the needs of local integrators and fleet operators, and exchange practical expertise with industry professionals.
